Anirudh A Damani is the Managing Partner at Artha Venture Fund. Previously, Anirudh led the alternative investment arm for his family office, Artha India Ventures. He invested in high-yielding renewable energy projects and into early-stage startups with high growth potential. At Artha India Ventures, Anirudh invested in category-defining startups like OYO Rooms, Purplle, Tala, NowFloats, Coutloot, Mobilewalla, Rapido and others.
Before this, Anirudh was an entrepreneur in the energy space in the US. He worked with some of the largest energy companies in the world, like Suez Energy, Direct Energy, Constellation, etc.
Anirudh is an alumnus of Austin College and Cathedral & John Connon School in Mumbai.

Sandesha Jaitapkar is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Artha Venture Fund. She carries an experience of over eight years in Office Management & Human Resources. She has worked with Parthenon-EY, and ITC Limited in Management, Consulting, and Hospitality in her previous stint. She was responsible for campus hiring, pre-recruitment, and onboarding for new hires, including liaising with the Ministry of External Affairs and international high commissions.
She is a graduate in Commerce from the University of Mumbai.
Sandesha is a routine trekker & is inclined towards fitness. She adores food photography.
Sanjay Gandhi is heading the Legal and Compliance team at Artha Venture Fund. Before this, he has worked with US-based ALCOR Fund, Melbourne based MAP Capital Advisors Pty Ltd, News Bites, and ASK-Raymond James in India.
He has completed a Master of Appliance Finance from the University of Melbourne, Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Mumbai. He has cleared the Intermediate Level of Chartered Accountancy from ICAI, India.
Sanjay is fond of sports, especially Cricket & Tennis. Apart from movies, music, he likes
travelling.
Jashank Pohani, CFA, is a financial professional with a CFA Charter and has also pursued CA from ICAI. With over 7 years of experience in Wealth Management and Management Consultancy, he has advised Family Offices in India and the Middle East on their Indian investments and helped set up a multi-family office in Dubai. Recognizing the demand for Indian VC investments from Family Offices, Jashank moved back to India to manage Investor Relations for Artha.
